Born during the September quarter 1901 in the Chorlton R.D. - ref: 8c/798, the son of Thomas & Mary Becket Seal (nee Bealy) 1911 Census - 123 Stamford Street, Old Trafford. Son - aged: 9 - Scholar - born: Manchester. Head of household - Thomas Seal - Married - aged: 57 - occ: Tripe Dresser - born: Manchester. Also - Mary Seal - Wife - aged: 55 - born:Manchester. Plus 5 elder siblings. Married Miriam Bromily during the December quarter 1937 in the Barton on Irwell R.D. - ref: 8c/1070. 1939 National Registration - 204 Barton Road, Stretford. Robert Seal - Married - born: 3rd July 1901 - occ: Electric Motors Core Builder. Miriam Seal - Married - born: 18th May 1911 - occ: Unpaid Domestic Duties. CWD Report No. 109. Died as a result of blast & splinters at 79 Moss Road, Stretford, from where his body was recovered at 13.15 hrs on the 24th December 1940 and taken to the Church Street Mortuary, Stretford.
