Actually only 3 months old. CWD Report No. 108. Died as a result of blast & splinters at 79 Moss Road, Stretford, from where his body was recovered at 13.15 hrs on the 24th December 1940 and taken to the Church Street Mortuary, Stretford. His body was identified by his uncle - J.V. Bromley (sic) and released for burial to the Council's Undertaker Contractor - R. Pepperdine, 31 Ayres Road, Old Trafford. Buried 27/12/1940 - Burial No. 17,862. Land Mine - see MEN 13/09/2008. CWGC - Aged 3 months; of 50 Thornbury Road. Son of Robert and Marian Seal. Died at 79 Moss Road. |
