The 6th Bn came under the command of the 38th Brigade, 13th Division.  They
moved to Gallipoli in July 1915, then to Egypt in January 1916 and thence
to Mesopotamia.

Also reported in the 20/08/1917  edition of the Altrincham Guardian.  He
was serving his 'Articles' with the Town Clerk of Salford.

His mother resided at "Ingarsby", Warwick Road, Hale.
