His brother, James Edward Robinson also died on Active Service.

His father, Tom died 10/01/1972 aged 76.

Millenium Plaque placed on grave, inscribed -

"In honoured memory of our elder brothers P/O Fred Vesey Robinson aged 22
and Flt Eng. James E. Robinson aged 19 and their crews of 78 Sqn R.A.F.
Breighton, Yorkshire 1944-45.   Theirs was not a choice but a duty.  They
flew on the wings of freedom to confront a great evil.    Kenny aged 6 in
1944".

Articles in the 11/08/1944 and 16/02/1945 editions of the local newspaper
about the two brothers wishing to serve together, but the request was
refused.    One article states that they were the sons of the well known
Altrincham dance promotor known as "FJR".   The other states that they
themselves commencved the mid-week dancing sessions at the Stamford Hall on
Tuesday nights known as FJR.   Their grandfather was Councillor Edward
Vesey.
