Born on the 5rh November 1910, the birth being registered during the December quarter 1910 in the Whitchurch R.D. - ref: 6a/603, the son of Alfred Charles Lionel & Evelyn Price (nee Griffiths). At some point, the family moved to Marsland Road, Sale. A Warrington man. Employed in the Manchester Branch of the Cement & Concrete Association. Married - Olga Hewitt during the March quarter 1938 in the Bucklow R.D. - ref: 8a/348 and they resided at "Glenesk", Ashton Lane, Ashton upon Mersey. 1939 National Registration - 1 Parkfield Road, Cheadle & Gatley. Arthur R. Price - Married - born on the 5th November 1910 - occ: Journalist (Commercial Propaganda). Olga Price - Married - born on the 16th October 1908 - occ: Unpaid Domestic Duties. There were two redacted records at this address - One of these will undoubtedly be their son - Gerald Price (b. early 1939). Death reported in the 14/05/1943 edition of the Sale & Stretford Guardian. He had been in the RTR for 2 years and in the Middle East since November 1941. He was taken prisoner on the 02/06/1942 before "Knightsbridge". He was taken ill and had been in hospital since October 1942. He died of illness in a POW camp hospital near Caserta, Italy.
