Head of household - William Nightingale - Married - aged: 38 - occ: Commercial Clerk - born: Tockholes, Lancashire. Also Ann Nightingale - Wife - aged: 39 - born: Ashton under Lyne. Posted to Rockhampton Gloucestershire on the 29th December 1917 where he served until the 31st March 1918 when he transferred into the R.A.F. The record confirms that he was born at Ashton under Lyne on the 13th February 1881. NOT COMMEMORATED BY THE CWGC. I believe this is the 'H' Nightingale commemorated on the Sale War Memorial.
