Born in Salford in 1889, the son of William & Eliza Jane McKee. 1891 Census - No Trace, but according to the electoral rolls his father was residing at 5 Hulton Street, Salford. 1901 Census - 5 Hulton Street, Salford. Son - aged: 12 - born: Salford. Head of household - William McKee - Married - aged: 70 - occ: Retired Soap Boiler - born: Ireland. Also - Eliza Jane McKee - Wife - aged: 63 - born: Ireland. Plus 3 siblings and 1 niece. 1911 Census - No Trace. Married Rosetta Sharman at St. Clements P.C., Salford on the 13th January 1912, the marriage being registered during the March quarter 1912 in the Salford R.D. - ref: 8d/82. Rosetta was employed as a Weaver - born in 1888. CWGC - Husband of Rosetta McKee of Dodds Cottages, Green Lane, Ashton upon Mersey. Pension Records - Widow - Rosetta McKee, Dodds Cottages, Green Lane, Ashton upon Mersey. They had one son - Robert Henry McKee born on the 21st February 1914.
