Born during the March quarter 1912 in the Salford R.D. - ref: 8d/251, the son of Matthew & Mary Moore (nee Waterhouse). Married Kathleen Hall during the September quarter 1940 in the Manchester R.D. - 8d/390. 1939 National Registration - No Trace. CWD Report No. 48. Died as a result of falling debris at 395 Chester Road, Old Trafford, from where his body was recovered at 16.00 hrs on the 23rd December 1940 and taken to the City Road Mortuary, Old Trafford. His body was identified by a friend - Dr. M. Calverley and released for burial to M.F. Bailey (Undertakers), 72 Manchester Road, Chorlton-cum-Hardy, Manchester. Death registered in Stretford Borough. Cremated on the 31st December 1940. CWGC - THE REVD; of 395 Chester Road, Old Trafford. Son of Mathew Moore, of 19 Disley Avenue, West Didsbury, Manchester; husband of Kathleen Moore. Died at 395 Chester Road. |
