son of Henry & Charlotte Lucas (nee Parry).

Carter - born: Broughton, Salford.    Also - Charlotte Lucas - Wife - aged:
29 - born: Salford.  Plus 1 elder brother.

1911 Census - 2 Highfield Avenue, Sale.   Son - aged: 13 - Scholar - born:
Salford.    Head of household - Henry Lucas - Married - aged: 40 - occ:
Porter - born: Broughton Salford.    Also - Charlotte Lucas - Wife - aged:
39 - born: Salford.  Plus 2 elder siblings, his maternal grand father (who
he was named after) and 1 boarder..

Employed by Messrs. Hickson, Lloyd & Kings, Piccadilly, Manchester.

Had only been on active service two months before he was killed.

Death reported in the 21/04/1916 edition of the Altrincham Guardian.

His elder brother was serving in the Signalling Section of the Manchester
Rgt.

Listed in the Guardian Year Book - Roll of Honour for 1917.
