M.I. - "Treasured memories of a dear husband & father. He giveth his beloved sleep". Local newspaper reported - (don't know date ????) That he had been home on 15 days sick leave and died at home after being in the RAF hospital at Rostrup for about eight weeks. He collapsed and died while repairing his daughter's portable radio with his friend Frank Hart of 92 Sale Road, Wythenshawe. Sgt. Kibble had lived at Sale all his life and had served in the RAF for 22 years. He was stationed at Celle, Germany in June 1945. A military funeral will be held on Wednesday 2nd January 1957. |
