Born on the 7th March 1901, the birth being registered during the June quarter 1902 in the Chorlton R.D. - ref: 8c/943, the son of James & Florence Jane Kedie (neƩ Stock). At the time of the 1901 Census, his parents were residing at 70 Ridgeway Streeet, Moss Side; where Robert was born perhaps??? 1911 Census - 18 Orchard Street, Greenheys, Manchester. Son - aged: 9 - Scholar - born: Manchester. Head of household - James Kedie - Married - aged: 44 - occ: Horse Shoer - born: Farrow, Co. Durham. Also - Florence Kedie - Wife - aged: 40 - born: Manchester. Plus 8 siblings. Married Hannah V. Hewitt during the December quarter 1923 in the Chorlton R.D. - ref: 8c/1180. Hannah was born at Salford on the 13th July 1903, but by 1911 was living with her parents - John & Jane Hewitt, at 1 Gretney Street, Hulme. 1939 National Registration - 20 Redfern Avenue, Sale.
