Member of Guild of Air Pilots & Navigators. At approximately 10.00 hours, whilst flying Beaufighter Mk 2 - number R 2312, he intercepted a He 111 off Plymouth and failed to return. In August 1940, 600 Sqn was part of No.11 Group, based at RAF Manston the code letters were 'BQ'. In January 1941 it became part of No.13 Group, based at RAF Catterick and in June 1940 part of No.10 Group, based at RAF Colerne. |
