Born during the December quarter 1920 in the Liverpool R.D. - ref: 8b/140, the son of Oscar Edward and Elizabeth Henry (nee Bagnall). Flying with 35 Sqn, they took off in a Halifax Mk II - No. W1020 TL-K at 20.35 hrs from RAF Kinloss on a mission to bomb the "Tirptiz" that was moored at Faettenfjord. I believe that he is the G. Henery on the Sale War Memorial. |
