Son - aged: 7 - born: Urmston. Head of household - Sydney O. Harrop - Married - aged: 38 - occ: Manufacturer Agent - born: Macclesfield, Cheshire. Also Edith L. Harrop - Wife - aged: 34 - born: Manchester. Plus 2 sisters and 1 domestic servant. 1911 Census - 5 Vincent Avenue, Chorlton cum Hardy, Manchester. Son - aged: 17 - occ: Apprentice to Wholesale Drapery - born: Urmston. Head of household - Sydney Oswald Harrop - Married - aged: 47 - occ: Agent Selling on Commission for Manufacturer of Woolen Goods & Clothing - born: Macclesfield, Cheshire. Also Edith Lee Harrop - Wife - aged: 44 - born: Manchester. Plus 2 sisters and 1 domestic servant. Formerly 3264 - Duke of Lancaster's Own Yeomanry. Death reported in the 24/08/1917 edition of the Macclesfield Advertiser. Commemorated on the family gravestone in Sale Cemetery, which states that he died at Langemarke, near Ypres.
