Born during the March quarter 1896 in the Altrincham R.D. - ref: 8a/164, the son of Frank & Florence Hamilton (nee Clegg). 1901 Census - 61 Oxford Road, Altrincham. Son - aged:: 5 - born: Altrincham. Head of household - Frank Hamilton - Married - aged: 32 - occ: Builder & Contractor - born: Altrincham. Also - Florence Hamilton - Wife - aged: 32 - born: Altrincham. Plus - 1 elder sister and 1 domestic servant. 1911 Census - 61 Oxford Road, Altrincham. Son - aged:: 5 - born: Altrincham. Head of household - Frank Hamilton - Married - aged: 42 - occ: Builder & Contractor - born: Altrincham. Also - Florence Hamilton - Wife - aged: 42 - born: Altrincham. Plus - 1 elder sister and 1 domestic servant. Attended Bowdon College. Employed at Rigg Brothers, Cloth Manufacturers, 6 Mosley St, Manchester, later employed at the Head Office of the Parr's Bank in Manchester. Enlisted in October 1914 and drafted to the front in April 1915. Death reported in the 11/08/1916 edition of the Altrincham Guardian.
