occ: Cotton Manufacturer - born: North Manchester.   Also - Elizabeth
Haworth - Wife - aged: 33 - born: Higher Broughton.    Plus 3 Domestic
Servants.

19=891 Census - Well House, Ilkley, Yorkshire.   Son - aged: 10 - Scholar -
born: Chorlton cum Hardy, Manchester.   Eliabeth Haworth - Wife - aged: 42
- born: Manchester.   Plus 3 siblings.   They were staying at a Hotel.

1901 Census - High Lawn, Bowdon.   Son - Listed as FRANK Howarth - aged: 20
- occ: Apprentice Cotton Manufacturer Merchants - born: Manchester.   Head
of household - George C. Howarth - Married - aged: 57 - occ: Cotton
Merchant & Manufacturer - born: Manchester.   Also - Mary Howarth (Sic) -
Wife - aged: 52 - bon  Manchester.  Plus 4 siblings, 1 visitor and 6
domestic servants.:    Presumably Mary was a transcription error?

1911 Census - High Lawn, East Downs Road, Bowdon.    Son - UnMarried -

Manchester.  Head of household - Elizabeth Pape Haworth - Widow - aged: 63
- born: Higher Broughton, Salford.  Plus 6 Domestic Servants.

Joined the Scottich Horse in August 1914 as a Trooper and took his own
horse with him.

Death reported in the 9th November edition of the Manchester Guardian, that
states that he was Known as Mr. Frank at the mills.

Kia at Hazmak Dere, Gallipoli.

Commemorated on the private family gravestone in St. Mary's, Boiwdon. Grave
No. 3083a & 3084a.

M.I. "Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for
his friends.

His father, George Chester died 11/05/1932 aged 89 years and his mother
Elizabeth Pape died at High Lawn, Bowdon 25/12/1913 aged 66 years.

His brother Gordon served in the Royal Engineers.    He was wounded at the
battle of Loos and recovered at Winwick Hospital after which he was drafted
to Gallipoli.

Probate awarded to his widow - Annie Hoarth at London on the 21st March
1916.  Estate valued at £2,805. 18s. 2d.  Confirms that he died at the
Dardenelles on the 18th October 1915
