Son - aged: 5 months - born: Bury. Head of household - John Holt - Married - aged: 39 - occ: Wheelwright - born: Bury. Also - Sarah Jane Holt - Wife - aged: 38 - born: Halifax, Yorkshire. Plus - 2 elder brothers. 1901 Census - 451 Walshaw Road, Bury, Lancashire. Son - aged: 10 - born: Bury. Head of household - John Holt - Married - aged: 49 - occ: Wheelwright - born: Bury. Also - Sarah Jane Holt - Wife - aged: 48 - born: Halifax, Yorkshire. Plus - 2 elder brothers. 1911 Census - Owlerbarrow Cottage, Elton, Bury, Lancashire. Son - aged: 20 - occ: Apprentice Joiner - born: Bury. Head of household - John Holt - Married - aged: 59 - occ: Wheelwright - born: Bury. Memorial insert by his widow - Mary Holt states that he was serving in the Coldstream Guards Pioneers. "A noble and beautiful life sacrificed for his country. Deeply loved and so sadly missed by his sorrowing wife, Mary (nee Whittaker), 104 Moss Lane, Hale, Cheshire. (late of Bury Street, Heywood) and all his sorrowing relatives. One of God's chosen ones".
