Born during the December quarter 1881 in the Lincoln R.D. - ref: 7a/508,
the son of Thomas Edmund & Betsy Hearon (nee Adcock).

1891 Census - 65 Broad Street, Pendleton, Salford.   Son - aged: 11 - born:
Lincoln City.   Head of household - Thomas Edmund Hearon - Married - aged
aged 43 - occ: Draper - born: Letsworth, Oxfordshire.  Also - Elizabeth
Hearon - Wife - aged: 35 - born: Newton on Trent, Lincolnshire.  Plus 2
siblings and 1 domestic servant.

1901 Census - 65 West High Street, Salford.   Son - aged: 19 - occ: Cashire
at Shipping House - born: Lincoln.   Head of household - Thomas E. Hearon -
Married - aged aged 52 - occ: Draper - born: Letsworth, Oxfordshire.  Also
- Elizabeth Hearon - Wife - aged: 46 - born: Newton on Trent, Lincolnshire.
 Plus 2 siblings and 1 domestic servant.

1911 Census - 65 West High Street, Salford.   Son - aged: 29 - occ: Buyer
of Cotton Goods - born: Lincoln.   Head of household - Thomas Edmund Hearon
- Married - aged aged 52 - occ: Draper - born: Letsworth, Oxfordshire. 
Also - Elizabeth Hearon - Wife - aged: 56 - born: Newton on Trent,
Lincolnshire.  Plus 2 siblings and a boarder by the name of Edith Ward,
Walter's future wife.  She was aged: 24 - occ: Teacher in Elementary School
- born: Salford.   A 7 roomed house.

Married Edith Ward on the 8th July 1914 in Christchurch, Salford, during
the September quarter 1914 in the Salford R.ED. - ref: 8d/125.

Employed as a buyer in a Shipping Warehouse.   He enlisted at Ashton under
Lyne on the 22nd November 1916.

Sustained a penetrating head wound on the 28th November 1917 close to
Ypres.

His Bethnal Green Military Hospital Medical Report states that he was
"Holding the line and was struck by shrapnel in forehead.   Operated on in
C.C.S.   No sign of F.B.   Much loose bone removed and much lacerated
tissue".

Issued with a SWB - No. H/995/1.

His death was registered during the March quarter 1919 in the Salford R.D.
- ref: 8c/1397 - aged: 37.   SWARM have obtained a copy of his death
certificate which states that he died of (1) Gunshot wound to skull 9
months. & (2) Traumatic Epilepsy.   At the time of his death, he was
residing at 42 Norton Street, Old Trafford.    His occupation given as
"Army Pensioner (Shipper's Buyer)".    His father - Thomas E. Hearon of 65
West High Street, Salford, was in attendance at the time of his death.
