The Hughes' family are listed as living at both Nos. 15 & 17 Chapel Street
in the 1914 & 1915 street directories and at Nos. 15 & 19 in the 1916
directory.

There are 3 James Hughes on SDGW, but none referenced to the Trafford
area.

Listed in the Guardian Year Book - Roll of Honour for 1916, which states
that J. Hughes lived at Chapel St.

Assuming he died in 1915, that would make him aged, 42 at the time of his
death.

The CWGC lists just two J. Hughes as serving with the Royal Irish Rifles.
One died 12/05/1915 and is buried in Authuile Cemetery, France. B-18.
The other died on the 15/06/1915 and is buried in Twelve Tree Copse
Cemetery, Gallipoli. 11-E-12. There is no personal M.I. information on
either one. However, the R.I.R. information itself could well be
wrong???
