8a/177, the son of William & Alice Davenport (nee Aston).   Registered as
Harry Davenport.

Formerly 204644 - Middlesex Rgt.   He had been at the front for 12 months
and had twice been gassed.

His death was reported in the 29/11/1918 edition of the Altrincham
Guardian.

Spelt Devenport on the Altrincham Roll of Honour.     He had two brothers -
Frederick & Albert - serving in the Army.
