Born during the December Quarter 1923 in the Bucklow R.D. - ref: 8a/259, the daughter of Alfred E Cowsill & Mary Jane Cowsill (nee Quinn). 1939 National Registration - 14 St.Vincent Street, Altricham. Alfred E. Cowsill - Born on the 17th March 1895 - Married - occ: Special Constable for the Air Ministry. Jane Cowsill - Born on the 7th April 1897 - Married - occ: Unpaid Domestic Duties. There are three redacted records at this address. These will be Alfred & Mary's three children - Mary B.1923 - Joan B.1925 - Keven b.1927. Joined the Auxilliary Territorial Service. Possibly serving in an Ack-Ack Battery, searchlight unit or a balloon unit. There was very litle enemy activity in the Shropshire area by 1944, so her death may have been accidental or of natural causes.
