Head of Household - Charles Birch - aged: 50 - occ: Gardener - born: Melton, Suffolk. Plus his wife - Mary Ann Birch - aged: 46 - born: Trigby, Norfolk. Plus three elder brothers. 1901 Census - No Trace 1911 Census - Raglan Cottage, Washway Road, Sale - son - aged: 27 - occ: Groundsman at Cricket Club - born: Belturbet, Co. Caven, Ireland. Head of Household - Charles Birch - aged: 68 - occ: Gardener (Domestic) - born: Melton, Suffolk. Plus his wife - Mary Ann Birch - aged: 63 - born: Great Yarmouth, Norfolk. They had been married for 28 years and produced 8 children of whom 6 were still living. Pension Records - Dependent - Charles Birch (Father), Sale Heys Cottage, Washway Road, Sale. Charles' name crossed out as deceased on the 10th September 1921 and Mary Ann Birch's name substituted. Her address was 13 Russle Street, Higher Crupsall, Manchester. They were awarded a weekly pension of 5/- w.e.f. the 19th February 1918. Mary Ann died on the 26th September 1922. Listed on the Sale Cricket Club Memorial as their Assistant Groundsman.
