Born during the June quarter 1890 in the Manchester R.D. - ref: 8d/279, the son of John & Eliza Ann Barratt (nee Heywood). 1891 Census - 38 Stonehewer Street, Manchester. Not listed - missed off perhaps??? Head of household - John Barratt - Married - aged: 45 - occ: Maker up at Iron Works - born: Manchester. Also - Eliza Ann Barratt - Wife - aged: 30 - born: Manchester. Plus 5 siblings. 1901 Census - 6 Hannah Street, Manchester. Son - aged: 10 - born: Manchester. Head of household - John Barratt - Married - aged: 33 - occ: General Warehouseman - born: Manchester. Also - Eliza Ann Barratt - Wife - aged: 42 - born: Manchester. Plus 4 siblings. 1911 Census - 55 Sudell Street, Manchester. Boarder - aged: 19 - occ: Estate Agents Clerk - born: Manchester. By 1911, his father had died and his widowed mother, aged: 52, is now residing with her widower father - Joshua Heywood.
