On the 1891 Census returns for Pepper Street, Mobberley, his mother was listed as Single - aged: 18 - occ: Laundress - born Mobberley. Head of household - her widowed mother - Sarah Bailey, aged: 62. Sarah Ann married Enoch Simcock during the December quarter 1900 in the Bucklow R.D. - ref: 8aq/315. 1901 Census - Pepper Street, Mobberley, Cheshire. Grandson - aged: 5 - born: Mobberley. Head of household - Sarah Bailey - Widow - aged: 78 - Living on own means - born: Rostherne, Cheshire. Also - Enoch Simcock - Son-in-Law - aged: 28 - occ: Carter for Grocer - born: Mobberley. Sarah A Simcock (Daniel's mother) - daughter - born: Mobberley. Plus his younger sister. 1911 Census - Pepper Street, Mobberley, Cheshire. Son (Stepson) - aged: 15 - born: Mobberley.
