Born at Bowdon, Cheshire on the 19th May 1890, the birth being registered
during the September quarter 1890 in the Altrincham R.D. - ref: 8a/168, the
son of William  & Elizabeth Blease (nee Holt)..  

Attended St. Mary's Church of England School, Altrincham..

Albert's mother died in April 1900, aged: 60 and was buried in St. Mary's
Churchyard, Bowdon, Cheshire..

1901 Census - Off Ashley Road, Hale, Bucklow, Cheshire.   Nephew to Cab
Driver - Thomas Jones who was his mother's brother.   His father - William
was also residing at this address.   Albert was aged: 10 - born: Bowdon,
Cheshire.   His father - William Blease - Widower - aged: 62 - born:
Rostherne, Cheshire.

His father - William Blease died in December 1910, aged: 72 and was also
buried in St. Mary's Churchyards, Bowdon...

1911 Census - Higher Manwood Farm, Ringway, Altrincham.   Servant - aged:
21 - occ: Farm Labourer - born: Bowdon, Cheshire.  Head of household -
William Crosby - Widower - aged: 79 - occ: Farmer - born: Lymm, Cheshire.

Married Annie Mather on the 2nd December 1911 at St. Mary & All Saints
P.C., Ringway, Cheshire, the marriage being registered during the December
quarter 1911 in the Bucklow R.D. - ref: 8a/361.   Albert's occupation given
as "Teamsman" (Horses).    Albert - son of William Blease, Labourer (dcd). 
 Annie - daughter of William Mather, Labourer.     Annie Mather was born
during the summer of 1892 at Wincham, Cheshire.    

They resided at 17 Knutsford Road, Hale Barns and their son - Leonard
Blease was born on the 31st October 1914, followed by their daughter -
Mabel Blease on the 26th March 1916.

Albert enlisted on the 27th March 1917 and was drafted to the front in June
1917.   His occupation at that time was - Taxi Driver.   Quite a small man
he was 5 feet, 4½ inches in height, with an expanded chest measurement of
38 inches.

He was attached to the 20th Balloon Company.   He served in France and
Italy, before returning to France.    Admitted into the 14th Field
Ambulance on the 3rd February 1918, suffering from abrasions and
concussion.   Died of Broncho-Pneumonia at 8 Canadian Hospital, situated on
the outskirts of Paris.

His death was reported in the 25th October 1918 edition of the Altrincham
Guardian and in the 1st November 1918 edition  of the Northwich Guardian, 

Not mentioned in either "The Sky their Battlefield" or "R.F.C.
Communiqués".

His Mother-in-Law lived at 11 Victoria View, Wincham, Cheshire.

After Albert's death, Annie Blease married Arthur William Andrews in June
1920 at Northwich, Cheshire. She died on the 10th September 1944 in
Manchester, Lancashire, at the age of 52.
