Born during the December quarter 1920 in the Chorlton R.D. - ref: 8c/1570, the son of Joseph Henry & Dorothy Angell (nee Brennan). Mentioned in Despatches. Landed in Normandy on D-Day in (Small) Landing Craft (Infantry) vessel No. 539. French M.I. - "Memories of a very gallant Englishman. Eternal rest O'Lord give to him. R.I.P."
