According to the Census returns Thomas was born at Altrincham, but the only
Thomas Parsonage born 1887 was born at Chester (where his father was born),
the son of Samuel & Emma Parsonage (nee Challen).

1891 Census - 74 Owen Street, Hulme, Manchester.   Son - aged: 4 - born:
Altrincham.   Head of household - Samuel Parsonage - Married - aged: 40 -
occ: Greengrocer - born: Chester.    Also - Emma Parsonage - Wife - aged:
38 - born: Chester.   Plus - 4 siblings.

Strange how Thomas' parents - Samuel and Emma are each only 2 years older
in 1901 than they were in 1891 ???

recorded - born: Altrincham.    Head of household - Samuel Parsonage -
Married - aged: 42 - occ: Hawker Greengrocer - born: Chester.    Also -
Emma Parsonage - Wife - aged: 40 - born: Wales.   Plus - 5 siblings.

Married - Ellen Bowland - during the March quarter 1908 in the Bucklow R.D.

aged: 23 - occ: Greengrocer - born: Altrincham.   Also - Ellen Parsonage -
Wife - aged: 23 - born: Manchester.  Plus their son - Thomas Parsonage Jnr
- aged: 10 months - born: Sale and Nellie Bowland - Step-daughter - aged: 8
- born: Sale.

His father was still residing at No. 2 Egerton Road with his wife - Barbara
Parsonage ???   No trace of his marriage to a Barbara, nor the death of  an
Emma Parsonage.

Pension Records - Dependent - Mother Mrs. Nancy Ellen Parsonage (aged: 54),
7 Prince Street, Darwen.   Awarded a weekly pension of 8/6d w.e.f. the 12th
February 1918.
