BBorn during the December quarter 1879 in the Chorlton R.D. - ref: 8c/816,
the son  of Robert & Efshoby Liddle (nee Smith) (nee Gregory).   The birth
being registered under the name of Soloman Siddon Liddle*.  There are a
number of different spelling of his middle name.  He was baptised on the
14th January 1880 at St. Gabriel P.C. Hulme, Manchester.

Liddle) - aged: 1 - born: Manchester.    Head of household - Robert Liddle
- Married - aged: 32 - occ: Warehouseman & Beerhouse Keeper - born:
Edinburgh, Scotland.   Also - Efshoby - Wife - aged: 41 - born: Darley
Dale, Derbyshire.  Plus 5 half siblings - his mother's children with Thomas
Smith, whom she married in 1859.  After Thomas' death, she married Robert
Liddle.

His father - Robert Liddle died in 1884, aged: 35.

1891 Census - 5 Cobden Street, Hulme, Manchester.   Son - aged: 11 -
Scholar - born: Manchester.   Head of Household - Efshoby Liddle - Widow -
aged: 52 - born: Darley Dale, Derbyshire.   Plus 2 elder siblings.

1901 Census - 5 Cobden Street, Hulme, Manchester.   Son - aged: 21 - occ:
Confectioner - born: Manchester.   Head of Household - Efshoby Liddle -
Widow - aged: 64 - born: Darley Dale, Derbyshire.    Plus 1 elder siblings
and 1 Boarder.

His mother died in 1902, aged: 64.

Married Harriet Ellen Lloyd at St. Clements P.C. Urmston on the 5th August
1905, the marriage being registered during the September quarter 1905 in
the Barton upon Irwell R.D. - ref: 8c/1171.  Name given as Soloman Sidden
Liddle.   Soloman - a bachelor aged: 25, Confectioner of 3 Crofts Bank
Road, Urmston, son of Robert Liddle (decd) Core Maker.   Harriet - aged:
23, of "Strathdene", Church Road, Urmston, the daughter of Andrew William
Lloyd (decd), Farmer.

1911 Census - 37 Waverley Road, Sale.   Head of household - Married - aged:
31 - occ: Baker - born: Hulme, Manchester.    Also - Harriet Ellen Liddle -
Wife - aged: 29 - born: Broseley, Shropshire.  Plus their three sons aged:
from 1 - 5.

Soloman enlisted on the 7th December 1914 and was discharged from the Army
on the 10th October 1918, due to sickness


Died in the U.K. during the March quarter 1924 in the Bucklow R.D. - ref:
8a/315.
