Born during the December quarter 1891 in the Rochdale R.D. - ref: 8e/28,
the eldest son of Thomas & Lydia Margaret Joynson.  Birth registered as
Harvey Clifford JOINSON.

Lymm, Cheshire.   Also - Lydia Margaret Joynson - Wife - aged: 34 - born:
St. Asaph, Wales.   Plus 3 younger siblings.

WO363 - Enlisted at Edinburgh on the 9th November 1914.   Born at Rochdale,
he was aged: 22 years 49 days and resided at 7 Osbourne Terrace, Sale.  
Employed as a Clerk.  He was 5 feet 6 1/4 inches in height with a chest
measurement of 35 - 37 inches.   Son of Thomas & Lydia Joynson.

On the 10th March 1915, he was convicted of 'Not complying with an order'
and given 3 days, C.B. (Confined to barracks).   Whilst at Parkhouses on
the 17th June 1915, he was convicted of being absent from midnight on the
17th June to 8.30 pm on the 20th June 1915.  Deducted 5 days pay and given
7 days C.B.  Again at Parkhouses on the 22nd June 1915 he was convicted of
'Not being shaved on parade, given 3 days C.B.

His parents formerly lived at Greenwood St, Altrincham.    Attended St.
Margaret's P.C. (Altrincham) Sunday School.

Employed by the North British Station Hotel, Edinburgh.

Death reported in the 26/01/1917 edition of the Altrincham Guardian.

Margaret's, Altrincham Memorial.
