the youngest son of Donald & Eliza Miller.

1901 Census - 51 Victoria Square, Liverpool.   Son - aged: 3 - born:
Liverpool.   Head of household - Donald Miller - Married - aged: 42 - occ:
Dock Labourer - born: Scotland.  Also - Eliza Miller - Wife - aged: 45 -
born: Shropshire.   Plus - 3 elder brothers, all born in Scotland.

1911 Census - 38 Belgrave Road, Sale.  Son - aged: 13 - Scholar - born:
Liverpool.   Head of household - Donald Miller - Married - aged: 42 - occ:
Dock Labourer - born: Scotland.  Also - Eliza Miller - Wife - aged: 45 -
born: Shropshire.   Plus - 3 elder brothers, all born in Scotland.

Attended St. Martin's School.   Employed by Mr. R. Burgess (Butcher), Cross
St, Sale.

Enlisted on the 7th June 1915 and drafted to the front in March 1916.    
Invalided home with Trench Fever, in November 1916, but returned to the
front in July 1917.

Wounded on the 11th November and DoW in hospital abroad on the 17th
November.

Awarded a postumous Military Medal on the 12th November 1917.   Piece of
ribbon sent - the medal will be sent on later from the War Office.

Death reported in the 30/11/1917, 07/12/1917 and 21/12/1917 edtions of the
local newspaper.

M.I. - "He hath fought the good fight and is now at rest".
