son of Thomas & Harriet Birkenhead (nee Stubbs).

His father - Thomas Birkenhead died in 1889, aged: 34.

His mother - Harriet Birkenhead, married Samuel Millington in 1897.

occ: Farm Labourer - born: Western Point, Cheshire.   Residing with Thomas
& Mary Clarke and their family.   Thomas was a Cowman on a farm.   John's
mother and stepfather were still residing at Dutton, Warrington.

Married Maggie Frith during the March quarter 1918 in the Bucklow R.D. -
ref: 8a/273.   Post War Maggie was residing at "Green Hill", 2 Green Lane,
Ashton upon Mersey.
