Born during the September quarter 1912 in the Warrington R.D. - ref:
8c/407, the son of John Edward & Catherine Hoggarth ( Nee Pressegh).

In 1911 his parents  were residing at 5 Hazel Street, Warrington - where
John Edward Jnr was born perhaps???

1939 National Registration - 36 Worthington Drive, Stretford.   Catherine
Hoggarth - Married - born: 21st April 1888 - occ: Tailoress and P.W.C. No.
450/12157.  (Police War Constable)   John E Hoggarth - Single - born: 4th
July 1912 - occ: Roofing Felt Reeler.   Sidney Hoggarth - Married - born:
8th February 1910 - occ: Lorry Driver Haulag.   Ethel M. Hoggarth - Married
- born: 11th Frebruary 1910 - occ: Relief Die Stamper.

After the defeat of Germany in 1945, a Control Commission was set up to
support the Military Government, which was in place at that time. The
Military Government was gradually phased out and the Control Commission
took over the role of 'Local Government'.  It was responsible for Public
Safety, Health, Transport, Housing and Intelligence. The forward HQ was in
Cumberland House, Berlin.  Recruits had to be over 21 and were recruited
from, Civil Servants the Foreign Office and demobbed Military Personnel.
