Born in 1921.

CWD Report No. 65.   Died as a result of falling debris at 28 Stanley Road,
Old Trafford from where her body was recovered at 15.45 hrs on 9th January
1941 and taken to the City Road Mortuary, Old Trafford.  Her body was
released for burial to the Council's Undertaker Contractor - R. Pepperdine,
31 Ayres Road, Old Trafford.     Employed in a Glove Factory.

Killed when a land mine landed on Stanley Road, Old Trafford.   This was
the worst single incident in terms of loss of life in the whole of Greater
Manchester during WW2.   In total, thirty three persons were killed.

Buried 15/01/1941 - Burial No. 17,940.

Her mother Mary McLaughlin (formerly Jones) and her new step-father Patrick
Hugh McLaughlin, together with her siblings - Patricia Jones, William Jones
and James Jones, were also killed in the same incident.
