8c/216, the son of John & Catherine Hines (nee Farrell).

Catherine already had at least 2 children from her first marriage   All
FreeBMD and census returns spell the name "Hines".

Hines - Married - aged: 41 - occ: Bricklayer's Labourer - born: Warrington.
  Also - Catherine Hines - Wife - aged: 41 - born: Warrington.  Plus 1
younger sibling, 2 older half siblings, his grandfather and 1 Boarder.

Michael's father - John Hines died in 1907, aged: 46.

1911 Census - 6 Heaton Square, Warrington, Cheshire.   Son - aged: 12 -
born: Warrington.   Head of household - Catherine Hines - Widow - aged: 51
- born: Warrington.  Plus 2 siblings and 1 half sibling.

Spelt 'Hindes' on Altrincham Cenotaph and the Roll of Honour.  Spelt
'Hines' on the Chapel St. Mem, which also states that he was in the
Cheshire Rgt.   Spelt 'Hines' on the Warrington Town Memorial.  Both the
CWGC & SDGW spell it 'Hines'.

A Patrick Hines resided at the Rose & Shamrock P.H. - possibly a family
member?
