the son of Joseph & Sarah Jane Simcock (nee Hayman).

Head of household - Joseph Simcock - Married - aged: 38 - occ: Carter on
Farm - born: Mobberley.   Also - Sarah Jane Simcock  - Wife - aged: 37 -
born: Mobberley.   Plus 5 siblings, all born at Mobberley.

1911 Census - 32 Tolland Lane, Hale.   Son - aged: 15 - occ: Errand Boy -
born: Mobberley.   Head of household - Sarah Jane Simcock - Widow - aged:
48 - born: Mobberley.   Plus 4 siblings, a brother-in-Law, a nephew and 1
boarder.

Attended St. Peter's Sunday School, Hale.

Enlisted in February 1916 and was drafted to Egypt three months later.  
Stationed in Egypt for two years before moving to another front
(censored).

Died in hospital at the front from a shell wound and gas poisoning 

M.I. - "Peace, perfect peace".
