son of Edwin & Emmie Higham (nee Redfern).

27 - occ: Commercial Traveller - born: Withington, Manchester.   Also -

Errand Boy - born: Manchester.   Head of household - Edwin Higham - Married

Enlisted in February 1916.      Transferred to the Gas Section of the Welsh
Rgt in February 1917.

Formerly 2556 - Royal Sussex Rgt (Cycling Corps).   Killed at Ypres.

Commemorated on the private family gravestone in Hale Cem.   M.I. -
"Bravely fighting, he nobly fell".

CWGC - Son of Edwin & Emmie Higham of 26 Grove Lane, Hale, Altrincham.

His father, Edwin died 22/10/1940 aged 68 years and his mother, Emmie died
19/02/1945 aged 75 years.
