Born on the 6th January 1924, the birth being registered during the March
quarter 1924 in the Bucklow R.D. - ref: 8a/290, the youngest son of Arthur
& Emily Millatt (nee Richardson).    Baptised at St. Martin's P.C. on the
24th February 1924.

The family originally resided at 15 Firs Road, AoM, but later at "Romans",
62 Harboro Road, AoM.

Attended Altrincham Grammar School.   Local newspaper states that he
attended Lymm Grammar School and that he was a King's Scout in that
School's Troop.

Employed as a Clerk at the Oldham Rd Railway Goods Office.

He trained in Canada and became a Navigator.   He was flying a Tiger Moth
aircraft when it crashed in Gloucestershire killing himself and another
airman.

Not listed in Cheshire F.H.S. Book.

Death reported in the 27/10/1944 edition of the local newspaper and his
funeral reported in the 03/11/1944 edition.

He is listed on the war memorials of both Altrincham and Lymm Grammar
Schools and St. Mary's Church, Ashton upon Mersey.
