Born during the March quarter 1897 in the Chorlton R.D. - ref: 8c/731, the
son of Frederick Dobson & Sarah Jane (Jennie) Naylor (nee Chorlton).

1901 Census - No Trace.    His father - Frederick Dobson Naylor was a
boarder at 4 New Road, Lambrigg Terrace, Kendal, Westmorland.  He was
recorded as a Widower - aged: 34 - occ: Linesman with G.P.O. Telegraphs
(one of five linesmen boarders at this address) - born: Stretford. 
Frederick had married Sarah Jane Chorlton in 1893, she was a Laundress,
born in 1870.  I believe she died in 1899 ??? at Didsbury - aged: 30 ???

His father - married Mary Hallaby during the December quarter 1903 in  the
Barton upon Irwell R.D.

1911 Census - 4 Edgewell Villas, Flixton.  Son - aged: 14 - occ: Office Boy
- born: Withington, Manchester.    Head of household - Frederick Dobson
Naylor - Married - aged: 44 - occ: Linesman with G.P.O. - born: Stretford. 
 Also Mary Naylor - Wife - aged: 42 - born: Flixton. 

Death reported in the 5th November 1918 edition of the Manchester Evening
News.  Stating that he died of Pneumonia whilst on leave (Supined from
Influenza ???).  Interrment at St. Michael's P.C. was at 3.0 pm on Thursday
7th November 1918.

CWGC wrongly records him as Edgar Charlton Naylor.
