Born at Lostock Gralam during the June quarter 1894 in the Northwich R.D. -
ref: 8a/265, the son of Joseph & Sarah Ann Harrop (nee Robinson).

His father - Joseph Harrop died in 1895, aged: 23.

First attended the Lostock Gralam Church of England Infants' School on the
3rd June 1897.    His mother married Gottlieb Schmidt in 1899.

1901 Census - 19 Edward Street, Northwich, Cheshire.   Step-son - aged: 6 -
born: Lostock Gralam, Cheshire.    Head of household - Gottlieb Schmidt -
Married - aged: 26 - occ: Stationary Engine Driver at Alkali Works - b orn:
Germany.  Also - Sarah A. Schmidt - Wife - aged: 30 - bporn: Cuddington,
Cheshire.   Plus 1 sister and 1 half brother and his maternal retired
farmer grandfather.

1911 Census -   The Avenue Farm, Comberbach, Northwich, Cheshire.   Servant
- aged: 17 - occ; Milk Boy on Farm - born: Lostock, Cheshire.   This was
the farm of Mary Esther Woodcock a 54 year old widow and her 5 children and
a second servant - Cowman on Farm.

Married Hannah Dickens in the Northwich Methodist Church, London Road,
Northwich during the December quarter 1915 in the Northwich R.D. - ref:
8a/673.

M.I. - "Gone but not forgotten".

Pension Record gives no further information.  This later record, not the
original, which may appear later.

CWGC - Son of Mrs. S.J. Harrop (sic) of 13 Peter Street, Northwich: husband
of Hannah Perrin (formerly Harrop) of 21 High Street, Northwich, Cheshire.

His widow - Hannah Harrop married Harry Perrin in 1922.
