Born in 1874, the son of Thomas & Alice Sophia Stradling.  They Married in
1866.

1881 Census - No Trace - Ireland perhaps ???

His father - Thomas Stradling died in 1884, aged: 42.

1891 Census - 49 Tatton Road, Sale.   Son - aged: 17 - occ: Blacksmith -
born: Ireland.    Head of household - Alice S. Stradling - Widow - aged: 46
- occ: Laundress - born: Neatishead, Norfolk.   Plus 2 younger siblings.

1901 Census - 49 Tatton Road, Sale.   Son - aged: 26 - occ: Blacksmith -
born: Ireland.    Head of household - Alice S. Stradling - Widow - aged: 53
- born: Norfolk.   Plus 1 younger sibling - Herbert W Stradling - aged: 23
and employed at Linotype.   Plus 2 male boarders.

1911 Census - No Trace.    His mother, aged: 66 and siblings were still
residing at 49 Tatton Road.

His mother died in late 1911, aged: 67.

He suffered a G.S.W. (gun shot wound) to his Right Hand and Left Arm and
was considered to be 70% disabled.

SWB Record - Badge No. B238406 awarded on the 23rd July 1919 and was
discharged from the Army - "Wounds Para 392 (xvi) King's Regulation Army
Order 29 of 1919".    Age on discharge: 46    Rank: Far Sergeant.   Resided
at 49 Tatton Road,  Sale.

Died during the September quarter 1923 in the Altrincham R.D. - ref|:
8a/168 - aged: 50.

Not Commemorated by the CWGC as he died outside of their date parameters =
31st December 1921.
