Born during the December quarter 1882 in the Toxteth Park R.D. - ref:
8b/192, the son of Isaac & Mary Ann Cumpsty (nee Davies).

8 - born: Liverpool.   Head of household - Isaac Cumpsty - Married - aged:
49 - occ: Draper - born: Liverpool.   Also - Mary A. Cumpsty - Wife - aged:
42 - occ: Assistant in Draper's Shop - born: London, Middlesex.   Plus 6
siblings and 4 domestic servants.

1901 Census - 22 Market Street, Hoylake cum West Kirby, Wirral, Cheshire.  
 Son - aged: 19 - occ: Joiner - born: Liverpool.   Head of household -
Isaac Cumpsty - Married - aged: 60 - occ: Builder - born: Liverpool.   Also
- Mary A. Cumpsty - Wife - aged: 55 - occ: Draper - born: London,

1911 Census - No Trace.

WO 363 - Enlisted at Birkenhead on the 4th February 1916.   He was aged: 32
years, 120 days; his address given as 61 Cable Road, Hoylake, Cheshire and
employed as a Joiner for Munitions Liverpool.   He was 5 feet 4 1/2 inches
in height, his chest measurements were 34 to 38 1/2 inches.   He was
wounded on the 4th November 1916 from shell wounds, left forearm, thigh and
buttocks and died five days later.
