WO 363 - Enlisted on the 9th October 1915 into the 27th Reserve Battalion,
Manchester Rgt.   His address was given as 2 Dovestone Road,
Ashton-upon-Mersey.  He was aged: 21 years and 5 months and employed as a
Draughtsman.  He was 5 feet 1 1/2 inches in height and weighed 105 lb.    
Posted to France on the 30th January 1916.   His parents were sent the
following personal items belonging to their son:- a cross, a purse, knife,
prayer book, French book, 3 letters and 1 photo.
