8a/175, the son of William & Clara Jones.

Altrincham.    Head of household - William Jones - Married - aged: 36 -
occ: Painter's Labourer - born: Timperley.   Also - Clara Jones - Wife -
aged: 33 - born: Handley, Staffordshire.  Plus 3 siblings and 1 boarder.

1911 Census - 14 Police Street, Altrincham.   Son - aged: 18 - Scholar -
born: Altrincham.   Head of household - Clara Jones - Married - aged: 45 -
born: Staffordshire.   Plus 4 siblings and a nephew.   His father - William
Jones was a Lodger at 16 Regent Road, Altrincham, the home of the Pickston
family.   Lodger - Married - aged: 48 - occ: House Painter - born:
Timperley.

WO363 - Enlisted on the 22nd May 1915 into the Cheshire Regiment.   Aged:
18 years, 6 days, he was employed as a Labourer residing at 8 Egerton
Street, Sale.   He was 5 feet 6 1/4 inches in height, weighed 112 lb, with
a chest measurement of 31 - 33 1/2 inches and 'Moderate' physical
development.   He had a brother called Arthur William Jones and a sister
called, Mrs. Thorley.

He died of Pneumonia at the Borough Hospital, Birkenhead on the 13th June
1916.

Pension Records - Dependant - Mr. William Jones, 8 Egerton Street, Sale.

His medals were sent to Mr. William Jones (father) at 15 Shaws Road,
Altrincham on the 28th December 1916.

CWGC - Son of William and Clara Jones, of 8, Egerton St., Sale, Cheshire.
