The 28/12/1917 edition of the local newspaper reported that he had been
wounded in the thigh, knee and leg and that he was recovering in Liverpool
Hospital.

The 23/08/1918 edition of the local newspaper reported that he had been
(dangerously) wounded for the second time.

The 30/08/1918 edition states that he had been struck by a shell on the
16th August and died the same day.

Pension Records - Dependent: His mother - Mrs. Agnes Harrison, 34 James
Street, Sale.   Awarded a weekly pension of 7/6d w.e.f. the 18th February
1919.   By 1923 his mother had moved to 35 Temple Road, Sale.

Grandson of James Warrington, Parish Clerk of Sale.
