Lancaster Mk III - No. LM428 VN-O, to bomb Berlin.   They crashed at
Steinberg, where they were all originally buried - now buried at the Berlin
1939-45 Cemetery.

The crew members were:- Pilot - Flight Lt. Robert Petchell Burtt;  Flight
Engineer - Sgt. Ronald Taylor, aged: 18;  Navigator - Flying Officer Gordon
Richard Presland RCAF;  Wireless Operator/Air Gunner - Rowland David Betty,
aged: 30;  Air Gunner - Sgt. Eric Brookes;  Air Gunner - Sgt. John Alfred
Parkman, aged: 22 and the above Flying Officer Daynes.
