1911 Census - No Trace.

1939 National Registration - 30 Stanley Road, Stretford.   George Clark -
Married - born: 2nd August 1892 - occ: Park Ranger.   Annie Clark - Married
- born: 28th January 1887 - occ: Unpaid Domestic Duties.

CWD Report No.17.  Refers to his wife - Annie Clark.   Died as a result of
falling debris and that the remains of a female were recovered from 28
Stanley Road, Old Trafford at 16.30 hrs on the 28th December 1940, but
could not be identified.   This person had red hair had been killed by
falling debris and was probably aged around 45 years.    It was later
believed to be the remains of Mrs. Annie Clarke.

Killed when a land mine landed on Stanley Road, Old Trafford.   This was
the worst single incident in terms of loss of life in the whole of Greater
Manchester during WW2.   In total, thirty three persons were killed.

This is probably Unidentified body No.15.
