Flying a Battle Mark I. No. L5568PH, with 12 Sqn Bomber Command, the
aicraft took off from RAF Binbrook on a bombing mission of the Invasion
Ports.    It was intercepted by an Allied night fighter, crashing into the
sea off Skegness, Lincolnshire.    The bodies of the crew were recovered
and taken for burial at Binbrook.  The aircraft was piloted by Flying
officer B.E. Moss with Sgt. B.C. Long as the Observer and Sgt T.J. Radley.
