Born on the 31st May 1897, the birth being registered during the June
quarter 1897 in the Barton on Irwell R.D. - ref: 8c/688, the son of Edward
& Ada Heaton (nee Nield).

1901 Census - 15 Ack Lane, Hazel Grove and Bramhall.    Son - aged: 4 -
born: Patricroft.     Head of household - Edward Heaton - Married - aged 31
- occ: Cotton Goods Warehouseman - born: Patrictroft.   Also - Ada Heaton -
Wife - aged: 32 - born: Hazel Grove.     Plus 1 younger sister.

His mother - Ada, died in 1908 - aged: 39.

1911 Census - 85 New Moss Road, Cadishead, Manchester.     Son - aged: 133

8th July 1858 - occ: Retired Grocer.

CWD Report No. 63.    Died as a result of blast and falling debris at
Seymour Park No, 2 Police Station from where his body was recovered at
06.30 hrs on the 23rd December 1940 and taken to the City Road Mortuary,
Old Trafford.    His body was identified by a friend - Group Leader, N.S.
Crossdale and released for burial to Mrs. H.F. Heaton, 16 Melfort Avenue,
Stretford.

Death registered in Stretford Borough.
