stated.     Head of household - Benjamin Schofield - Married - aged: 30 -
occ: Foreman Bricklayer - born: Oldham.  Also Lily Schofield - Wife - aged:
25 - born: Oldham.    Plus 2 siblings.

Married Olive Brooke during the September quarter 1931 in the Oldham R.D. -
ref: 8d/2393 and they resided at 25 Hathershaw Lane, Oldham.

Sent down from his base at Oldham Fire Station to assist the local firemen
at Trafford Park during the Manchester Blitz 22nd/23rd & 23rd/24th December
1940.

CWD Report No. 43.   Died at Trafford Park, from where his body was
recovered at 13.00 hrs on the 24th December 1940 and taken to the City Road
Mortuary, Old Trafford.  =His body was identified by a friend - H.P. Mills,
27 Ethel Street, Oldham and released for burial to Mrs. Schofield.

Death registered in Stretford Borough.    Buried on 28/12/1940.
