daughter of Thomas & Diana Alice Hill (nee Aston).

1901 Census - Stamford Street, Ashton upon Mersey.   Daughter - aged: 6 -
born: Holmes Chapel.    Head of household - Thomas Hill - Married - aged:
36 - occ: Tramway Inspector - born: Holmes Chapel.  Also - Diana A. Hill -
Wife - aged: 28 - born: Worcester.   Plus 6 siblings.

1911 Census - 145 Second Avenue, Trafford Park.   Daughter - aged: 16 -
occ: Work on Commutation - born: Holmes Chapel.   Head of household -
Thomas Hill - Married - aged: 26 - occ: Tramway Inspector - born: Holmes
Chapel.  Also - Diana A. Hill - Wife - aged: 38 - born: Worcester.   Plus 6
siblings.

Mabel married Ernest Ricketts during the December quarter 1912 in the
Chorlton R.D. - ref: 8c/1510.

Domestic Duties.   There were two redacted records at that address.   At
the same address under a separate family record was three members of the
Hill family and Charles Dakin.

Killed when a land mine landed on Stanley Road, Old Trafford.   This was
the worst single incident in terms of loss of life in the whole of Greater
Manchester during WW2.   In total, thirty three persons were killed.

One of 17 Unidentified Bodies buried in the Communal Grave at Stretford
Cemetery.

wife of Ernest Cliff Ricketts. Died at 32 Stanley Road.
